Season your pumpkin pie the easy way, after sifting these fragrant spices together.  This recipe makes a little more than ¼ cup and can be doubled or tripled—so you can share the zesty mix with friends and neighbors.

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 4 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground mace
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon ground cloves (see note)
Instructions
  1. Sift everything together. That’s it!
Recipe Notes
Cloves have big and loud flavor--use the smaller amount if you prefer a milder clove presence.
